Bolognese with Peppadew® Cherry Peppers recipe

Spaghetti Bolognese always works!

Especially this version! The special flavor of Peppadew® cherry peppers takes the traditional dish to the next level! Try it yourself.


  • 60ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 large onions, chopped
  • 500g ground beef
  • 700ml tomatoes, chopped
  • 80g Peppadew® cherry peppers in strips
  • 1 tbsp basil (fresh or as a spice)
  • 150g olives
  • 60g capers, chopped
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 500g spaghetti
  • Optional: freshly grated Parmesan

First, heat the oil in a large pan. Then fry the onions until they become translucent and then add the meat. Fry until it is done.

Then add the tomatoes. These should cook for about 3 minutes before you add the cherry peppers and basil. Simmer everything over a low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes. Then stir in the olives and capers and cook with the lid closed for a further 5 minutes. The finished sauce then only needs to be seasoned with salt and pepper.

Now all you need is the pasta, which you should cook al dente according to the instructions on the packet. Then simply mix it with the prepared sauce and your delicious spaghetti bolognese with Peppadew® cherry peppers is ready!

Sprinkle some more Parmesan on top and enjoy !
