Chicken Burger with Peppadew® Cherry Pepper Strips Recipe

There are so many different variations and combinations of delicious burgers. But you probably have n't tried this combination yet . For those who don't eat meat, you can simply replace the chopped chicken with our pulled jackfruit and fry it briefly in the pan with the spices.

FOR APPROX. 4-6 PEOPLE YOU NEED:

  • 300g chicken breast fillet
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp roast chicken seasoning
  • 80 ml BBQ sauce
  • 100g Cheddar, grated
  • 50g mozzarella, grated
  • 4 tbsp Peppadew® cherry pepper strips
  • 8 burger buns


HOW TO DO IT:
Marinate the chicken breasts with the spices and then fry them in a heated pan with oil until the meat is cooked through. Then put the meat in a bowl and chop it up with a fork. Then add the BBQ sauce and the Peppadew® cherry pepper strips and mix everything well. Spread this mixture on the bottom halves of the buns and then sprinkle them with cheddar and mozzarella. Then bake the burgers in the oven for another 10 minutes at 180°C and serve hot.

Tip: Sweet potato fries go perfectly with this.
